| It is hard to believe but IMAGINATION in only three years have become Britain's first black Supergroup'. All their singles have been hits and three of their albums have won Gold Discs. It all began with the release of 'Body Talk' - their first and the biggest success. At that time Leee John, Ashley Ingram and Errol Kennedy did not decided on a name but eventually it was a sudden flash of imagination to call themselves IMAGINATION, probably as a tribute to John Lennon and his song 'Imagine'. 'Body Talk' was released in May 1981 but it took four long months to make the Top 40. It became very popular in the soul clubs and continued to climb the chart to Number Four and remaining in the chart longer than any other single in 1981. Then the three black guys had even more luck and success. Their next recordings: 'In And Out Of Love', 'Flashback', 'Just An Illusion', 'In The Heat Of The Night', 'Changes', 'New Dimension', and their brand new single 'This Means War' /Shoobedoodah Dabba Doobee/' have been great international bestsellers. In February'84 the group had their first releases in the U.S:A. - the homeland of black disco and soul music. IMAGINATION'S single and album have been riding high in the Rhythm and Blues charts. They have been with concerts to 28 countries all over the world and become the hottest TV sensation, with numerous 'Top Of The Pops' appearences with every hit single. Leee even played a lead role in the series 'Doctor Who' and hosted 'Malibu World Disco Dancing Championships' with the whole band's guest appearance on the final. In June 1984 the group had the honour о playing before HRH The Prince and Princess of Wales at the Royal Albert Hall. The proceeds of the concert went to underprivileged children. Later this year they will be playing in the Middle East, Australia and Spain. IMAGINATION have firmly estabilished themselves among the world's best disco-soul groups thanks to their experience and musical talent. Their unique sound cannot be typecast by anyone! Just listen!
